We have a Vacancy at Nautilus Projects based in Port Elizabeth for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

The Ideal Candidate would have/be: - At least 8 years of Mechanical engineering and design experience, preferably with experience in the mining sector - 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Strong knowledge of Mechanical design requirements & practices for Mining projects through various project execution phases. - Sound communication, negotiation, interpersonal, coordination, and leadership skills.  - Natural Leadership Ability and significant experience in a supervisory/lead role - Disciplined matured, energetic, team player and determined to make things happen.  - Attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: - Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager - Lead the overall coordination and execution and reporting of all Mechanical engineering and design activities for various projects & products - Ensuring that Design Office Principles & Procedures are implemented & maintained at all times - Periodic site visits to project sites will be required as part of the responsibilities.
